These past few months have been a whirlwind. Throughout the entire year! Then February came and went in a flash. When May arrived, everything came to a halt. The country was shut down as a result of quarantine. To say the least, it's been insane! Since I've been in quarantine for the past 8+ weeks, I thought I'd share some of my recent experiences in quarantine! Since I'm a personal blogger this blog page is like an online journal for me. I do have a journal and I write stuff down in that but blogging really gives me a good feeling since I know I somehow inspire or help someone out there. With things slowing down due to the pandemic, I honestly assumed I'd be blogging more, but that hasn't been the case. With the extra time, I've been able to truly reflect on my blog, and I believe I've finally admitted some hard facts that I didn't want to admit. Finding the motivation to keep up with my blogging has been a real struggle, but I have brainstormed a few blogs for the coming weeks and I will try to be consistent with it. Talking about 2021, this year has been giving me constantly ups and down's in life. I started this year on a good note, living the usual life but the second wave of covid did impact lives somehow. My life lately has been experiencing new turns, from getting covid to recovering from it. But tomorrow is a new day and a new month, time to get things done, and now that I'm fully recovered from covid I can head out and get back to work and daily routines. Life lately has been completely boring as well, so to use my free time, I have started to develop a keen interest in ethical hacking. Now programming isn't my favorite but I'm trying to get out of my comfort zone and learn something new and useful. Moreover, I've started to love and appreciate my life even more since this pandemic has made me realize the number of things I take granted for in life, not to mention life itself. This bad phase may end soon but it doesn't mean life has stopped, so even if you're stuck at home, live your life to the fullest! Spend more time playing indoor games with your family or anyone you're living with. Enjoy watching your favorite shows, do self-care and develop a new skill. One skill I have been enhancing is my photo editing skills and learning photoshop tutorials online. Make the most of your time. Go online and socialize virtually and make new friends. Life will be having bad days but that doesn't mean it's gonna last forever. Mindset is everything! With a positive mindset, I was able to get over covid and recover fast. Fiji has been reopened now and life is slowly getting back, not normal but it is trying to move on with the new normal such as masking, and vaccines.
