Making Yourself a Priority

Let’s be real for a second - when was the last time you genuinely put yourself first? Not just saying it, but actually doing it? I know life gets hectic - work, family, relationships, friends, it’s so easy to get caught up in everything and forget about yourself. You deserve to take care of yourself, not just once in a while but every single day. Something I’ve learned is that making yourself a priority doesn’t have to be big or dramatic. It can be soft, simple, and still mean everything

So here are a few simple ways I remind myself (and now you too) to make ME a priority:

🌸 Waking up early to enjoy a little peace before the day begins

🌸 Say “no” without overthinking it- You’re allowed to say no without explaining yourself. If something doesn’t align with your energy or values don’t force it.

🌸 Create little pockets of “me-time” daily - Whether it’s morning tea, reading a chapter of your fave book, doing skincare, or just exist without doing anything - these small moments are everything.

🌸 Invest in yourself - Time, love, energy & money - pour it back into you & spoil yourself. I’ve started allowing myself to spend on things that help me grow, heal, or simply feel good. Whether it’s buying skincare/makeup products that I love, booking a short trip for peace of mind, I’ve realized that it’s okay to spend on myself. Because here’s the thing when money is spent intentionally on your growth, your peace, your joy it’s never wasted. It’s an investment and you are absolutely worth investing in.

So yes, take the course, get the journal, buy the flowers, upgrade your space, treat yourself to a good meal. You are not extra, you are worthy.

🌸 Let go of guilt - Putting yourself first isn’t selfish. It’s survival, it’s self-love and when you show up for yourself fully, you’ll be able to show up better for everyone else too.

So today, start small. One little act of love for yourself and tomorrow? Another one💗
