Feeling puffed up from the hectic month? I totally feel you! August has been such a hectic month for me on a personal note. From waking up early morning to get myself to work to a messed up sleep schedule. I really needed to declutter and get my shit together because I have been feeling and looking like a mess lately. With 1st September approaching ( covid restrictions being on the loose), There's a glimmer of normalcy on the horizon now. This past year and a half have been difficult for everyone, and we may have lost our path a few times, but getting back on track is a lot easier than you might imagine. Isn't it true that we all desire to be in control of our lives? Allowing nothing to keep us back and always moving forward and forward? We can finally see this as an opportunity to get our lives back on track now that lockdown limitations have been lifted.
Today my blog will be a little off-topic from the rest as I'm going to talk about my day-off routine. First and foremost, gathering my S.H.I.T. (skincare, happiness, inner peace, and time). I really needed to get my S.H.I.T together and to start with, the first management I did was getting my sleeping schedule sorted so I literally had a good night's sleep and woke up fresh and energized. After my morning routine, I did the basic self-care which are as follows: Skincare - ( dermablading & face mask), Nails (so important for a girl) Haircare ( switched to black hair color now from my usual brown ), and then my shower routine & I am a hygiene freak! My close friends know how I am so into hygiene. One of my pet peeves is cleanliness and hygiene. With all that being done I got my Happiness by rewarding myself with homemade iced coffee. Moving on to Inner peace that just includes my journaling, listening to my favorite music, and spending time with my family members. Then I made Time to blog and chill with a show I'm currently watching. Now I am ready for a new week and new month which also happens to be my birthday month :) I've discovered that the happy I am, the more it appears on my face, making my skin sparkle. I feel more inner peace when I manage my time well since I am not concerned about any time commitments I may have.
It's that simple to get your act together in only a few hours! It's the little things that make a difference. Pampering yourself with self-care is important because it helps in self-development.
