Be Your Own Cheerleader

Notice how there are cheerleaders for sporting events that drive encouragement to the athletes? Wouldn't it be great if we had our own cheerleaders when things get a little tough?

It turns out we do! That's right, it's always been you. Talking to yourself about positive affirmations always works. I swear by this as it works for me. One of my personal favorite affirmations is "I CAN AND I WILL". Even when others criticize what you're attempting to do, keep your spirits up and applaud for yourself. You permit yourself to passionately care about what you're attempting to achieve by becoming your own cheerleader. For me, I have always been my own cheerleader whether it's by celebrating every small victory or achievement. I would thank my self or if I'm alone in my room I'd put some music on and dance to celebrate or even treat myself to ice cream or coffee. Radiating positivity within yourself is so important and it affects your mental health as well. If I face any tough situations, I think about some of the positive affirmations that help me move forward. I will be writing a blog soon about the top 10 positive affirmations that I live by. Moving on, self cheer can shape you into becoming the better version of yourself, as I mentioned earlier celebrating small and big success will be giving you confidence and after every success make sure to pat yourself on the back regularly. Appreciate your success before anyone else does, and even if no one appreciates your victory you do it yourself. Know your worth and your purpose. Life doesn't revolve around others. If I have to seek validation and approval from others it would mean I don't have enough confidence and appreciation for my own self. A famous few lines by Jay Shetty have influenced my life and today I'm going to share it out " Consistency is harder when no one is clapping for you. You must clap for yourself during those times, you should always be your biggest fan".

When I need motivation, my one solution is myself cause I am always there. For cheering you don't need to swing pom-poms around and if you want to then go ahead haha! Be there for yourself when no is and trust me you will appreciate yourself a lot more :)
